The new tramline linking Utrecht\u2019s University Campus with the city centre is nearly ready for service. FromAtoB has evaluated the quality of the planned tram stops and made suggestions for improvement in the year before opening.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

In collaboration with Mijksenaar, FromAtoB has carried out a survey to examine all UHL stops. Participants from different stakeholders were involved during the survey. Including the province, municipality, university and transport company. The stops of the Uithoflijn were viewed and assessed from the traveller\u2019s point of view. The perspectives of travellers with, for example, a wheelchair, blind and partially sighted people where included as well.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

Based on the findings of the survey, we have advised to improve several aspects on the stops of the Uithoflijn. The proposed improvements relate to: Marking and signage, accessibility, wayfinding, information provision, shelter, comfort and recognisability.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t
